  I moved into these apartments about 2 weeks ago. One of the main reasons I chose the retreat was for the in home washer and dryer. A few days after i had moved in i attempted to do a load of laundry and the washer doesn't spin and all my clothes just sit in water. I contacted Angela at the front desk and was told that the apartments are inspected before a resident moves in, yet the washer and dryer are not checked. I mentioned to her that one of the reasons I moved here was because they advertise washers and dryers in the units and was under the assumption that they should work. Her response to me was, "we advertise washers and dryers in unit online but that doesn't mean they work." To me that seems a bit like false advertisement which she ensures me it is not. Not to mention the paid parking for my unit is about a football fields length away from my unit. The patio light doesn't work. Garbage disposal is rusted and noisy. The stove top is warped. Burn holes in my carpet. Stains and cut marks on my counters. Fridge is scraped and dented all over the side. Looks like a great place until you move in, then you start to see the issues that the management doesn't want to fix.
