  This school is an amazing school. Its only been open for less than 3 years so it is still growing & from the front you cannot see all the property or buildings they have. I honestly think that in the next 3-5 years this school will have a huge waiting list & be #1 on anyones list of schools. They accept DES also & have a few of the Quality First Scholarships that come in each July (i think thats the right month, but if you need payment assistance & want your child to attend this school it would be wise to apply for their scholarships now for the upcoming ones or seek one elsewhere & transfer it). The owner of this school has an impressive background of child education, specializing in the Montessori theory of teaching, and the teachers are excellent. The children of preschool age (3-5) are already able to read, add numbers & subtract & do simple multiplication, they learn science & gardening & language arts & there is even an on-site SWIMMING POOL for swimming lessons in the summer. This school, despite being new, is definitely the best Montessori school I've had the pleasure of enrolling my daughter in & is completely out ranks any tusd pre-school or kindergarten as well as other daycare or private preschools. When my 4 year old is playing with her friends, who go to other schools & some are older than her, the gap in intelligence is VERY VERY CLEAR TO SEE. If youre child is already very smart, then I suggest to give them the best opportunity for an excellent head start at Almita. Even if your child is struggling with something, give them the chance to have caring teachers & an awesome education that your child will learn at their own pace so they too will get an excellent head start. Each day i pick my daughter up, she is so happy & tells me how much she loves her new school. Check it out, you wont be disappointed. :)
